In an MDF (Main Distribution Frame) setup, the One Vertical Ring refers to the vertical main incoming line, which brings external telephone lines or trunk lines into the system.

The L Frame is the metal mounting frame used to hold and support the Krone/LSA IDC punch-down blocks.
